ABC-Straße Hamburg
Calvin & Hobbes was a special motif. First of all, it was dedicated to a colleague, who was a big fan of these amazing characters. Second, it was really hard to solve, because of all the characters so far, these 2 are drawn with thin lines, which is absolutely not pixel friendly.
If you just scale them down, they look undefined and blurry and a lot of little, recognisable details get lost. So, I had to do some changes, e. g. changing the head sizes to ~180% and of course reduce the numbers of stripes on Hobbes (the tiger)
In the end, I was happy with the result, but – boy – it took a while. More and more friends showed interest in what i was doing with sticky notes, so this time I’ve invited my amazing colleague and friend Kashmira Wagh to help with this motif, and I was really happy about her help, because sticking the whole motif took us 2 days (with many breaks)
On 6th of December we started with Calvin and added Hobbes 2 days later.
